Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect and store:

• Account information from third-party authentication providers, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and provider account identifier
• Content you create in the App, including boards, tasks, comments, assignments, invitations, and shared access settings
• Collaboration information needed to show users, permissions, invitations, and shared boards
• Local device data needed to support offline access, syncing, and account deletion on that device
• Support information you send to us, such as emails and account assistance requests
• Anonymous or de-identified app usage information, such as how App features are used and how the App behaves in use
• Technical information needed to operate and protect the App, such as app version, device type, system information, and server logs

How We Use Information

Myrkat uses information to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
• Provide boards, tasks, invitations, assignments, sharing, offline access, and syncing
• Display users correctly within shared boards
• Provide support and respond to account requests
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and protect the service
• Understand anonymous app usage patterns and improve the user experience
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your account data or board content for advertising.

Authentication

Authentication is handled through third-party sign-in providers, such as Google and Apple, which may use an external browser or native system flow. Your sign-in credentials are never accessible to Myrkat.

Your use of those sign-in services may also be subject to the provider's own terms and privacy policy.

Analytics

Myrkat may use analytics services to understand how the App behaves in use and to improve the user experience.

Analytics information is anonymous or de-identified and does not include user account data, authentication credentials, or board content. We use analytics only for product improvement, not for advertising or selling data.

Sharing and Third-Party Services

Myrkat may share information with:

• Authentication providers, to sign you in
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate and secure the service
• Analytics services, using anonymous or de-identified usage information
• Other users you invite or collaborate with, when you share boards, tasks, comments, assignments, or invitations
• Legal, safety, or compliance recipients, if required to comply with law, protect rights, prevent abuse, or enforce our terms

Service providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Myrkat and are expected to protect information appropriately. We do not sell personal information.

Data Storage and Security

User data and board content are stored on backend servers. Board content and item data may also be stored locally on your device so the App can support offline use and continue to display your boards when a network connection is unavailable.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, such as access controls and secure data transmission where appropriate. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention and Account Deletion

We keep account information and user content while your account is active or as needed to provide the App.

You can delete your account directly from within the App. When you start account deletion, associated local board and item data are removed from that device as part of the deletion flow.

After account deletion is requested, associated account data is retained for seven days in case the deletion was requested by mistake. If you delete your account by mistake, you can contact us within seven days to request recovery.

After seven days, the account and associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be accessed or recovered, except where limited information must be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. Any retained information is limited to those purposes.

International Processing

The App and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards or legal bases for those transfers.

Children's Privacy

Myrkat is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can delete your account directly from within the App. For other privacy requests, or if you need help with deletion, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights that apply to you.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the App or by other reasonable means where required by law. Continued use of the App after updates means the revised policy applies.
